We are so pleased that you can join us this year to celebrate the Dogs of the British Isles! 

This is a wonderful way to not only celebrate dogs whose ancestry can be found in Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, The Isles of Man and Skye, (to name a few), but for festival attendees to learn about each breed and what makes them unique. Festival Organizers have reserved a large space on the grounds for us, so  bring your Dogs of the British Isles!

 If you have an informational display about your dog’s breed, like where they originate from, things they were bred to do (hunting rodents, retrieving waterfowl, etc.) temperament, maybe the breed was featured in a book or movie? Please create a nice looking display about your dogs. Festival attendees love learning about the Dogs of the British Isles!

Bring supplies to keep your dog cool, happy, and leashed. Please plan on bringing water for your dog.

For the safety of our volunteers and attendees, we ask that dogs of ill-temper, not socialized, and those that show aggression towards other dogs and/ or humans be left at home. If a dog is aggressive, we reserve the right to ask (tell)  you to take the dog home. All dogs should be in good health and current on all vaccinations.

Cost:

  • FREE - Dog Registration only, no tent space. Gate passes must be purchased separately. Dogs accompanying Scottish Festival participants like Athletes, Dancers, Clans, etc - Free but must still register
  • $50 - 10’ x 10’ space, which includes 1 weekend pass & 1 weekend parking pass
  • $75 - 10’ x 20’ space, and includes 2 weekend passes & 1 weekend parking pass
  • FREE - 10'x20' space, includes 4 weekend passes & 2 weekend parking passes. Reserved for Rescue Groups ONLY. Must be a registered Nonprofit Organization.

*Please remember that shade tents, tables, and chairs are not provided to participants - you will need to bring your own.

If you are not setting up a space, and just want to bring your Dog of the British Isles to the festival, please register (which is free) so we have an idea of how many/ which breed of dog is coming. Passes for humans are available online and at the gate.

Each dog will receive a ribbon that should be displayed on collars or leashes indicating that your dog(s) is registered for the event.

You can unload and set up from 7:00 am-8:45 on Saturday, as the festival begins at 9 am each day. Cars must be off the field by 8:30 and parked in the general parking area.

There will be several times to showcase all of our lovely dogs in parades, etc. during the festival. When we line up for a parade/ march around the grounds, it will be from smallest to largest breeds. We can’t wait to see you and our fluffy friends there!
